Round-robin
4 round-robin games each of 16-min single periods.
Equal score at the end of regulation results in a tie (1 point) for both teams.
Bottom 2 teams play in a playoffs qualifier.
Top 8 teams advance to the playoffs.
Standings tie-breaker: (1) most wins; (2) goal differential; (3) most goals; (4) least goals against.
Playoffs
Round robin seed is maintained for all playoff matchups. Higher seed chooses which side of the gym they prefer to play.
1. Quarterfinals - 16-min game
If necessary, 5-min 3-on-3 sudden death overtime + standard shootout
First set of matches: 1 vs 8 and 2 vs 7. Second set: 3 vs 6 and 4 vs 5.
2. Semifinals - 17-min game
If necessary, 5-min 3-on-3 sudden death overtime + standard shootout
Simultaneous matches: Highest seed vs lowest seed and remaining two seeds.
3. Finals - 18-min game consisting of 2 periods of 9-min each (stop time)
If necessary, 5-min 3-on-3 sudden death OT + 5-min 2-on-2 sudden death OT + standard shootout
Final two teams.
